Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using placelio.com (“Placelio,” “we,” “our,” “us”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

These terms may be updated from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top when changes are made. Continued use of Placelio after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

Use of Placelio

Placelio is a hotel discovery and review insights platform. You may use the site to:

  • Browse hotel pages, destinations, collections and editorial content.
  • Read review patterns, traveler insights and hotel context.
  • Contact us, submit hotel claims, or sign up for updates.

You agree not to misuse the service — for example, by attempting to disrupt, scrape, reverse-engineer or interfere with the site, or by submitting unlawful, harmful or misleading content.

Content Accuracy

Placelio aims to present accurate and useful information about hotels, but we make no guarantees that every detail is current, complete or error-free. Hotels change ownership, services and pricing. Always verify critical details (availability, pricing, room features) directly with the hotel or your booking provider before traveling.

Placelio does not process bookings or payments. We are not responsible for transactions completed on third-party sites.

User Contributions

If you submit feedback, messages, suggestions or other content to Placelio, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store and reference that content for the purpose of operating and improving the service.

You are responsible for ensuring your contributions do not infringe third-party rights and do not contain unlawful, defamatory, misleading or harmful material.

Hotel Owner Claims

Hotel owners, general managers and authorized representatives may submit a claim request to manage a hotel’s profile on Placelio. By submitting a claim, you confirm that you have the authority to act on behalf of the hotel and that the information you provide is accurate.

We may require verification — typically through a business email matching the hotel’s domain, or another reasonable method — before granting profile management access.

Placelio reserves the right to approve, deny, suspend or revoke claim access at our discretion, including in cases of misuse, inaccurate information or violation of these terms.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Placelio is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.

Placelio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data or use, arising out of or related to your use of the service.
